According to the latest rumors floating around, the Wii attracts roaches. Japanese entertainment magazine BARKS has stated that a powered-on Wii emits a sound frequency which falls right into the range to which cockroaches are attracted. So far this is only a rumor, but it is still being taken seriously and being investigated.

I wouldn’t start worrying about a bug infestation just yet, but it could never hurt to have
some bug killer on hand or atleast a shoe. Just sayin…
